We use banning as a last resort. For a member to be permanently banned the entire forum administration has to agree. That can be hard. We ban the IPs of spam bots regularly but they are not real members. our forum administration does not want to be corrupt & fashos like UaruJoey. If you head over here to my site you can see there is a global announcement saying that UaruJoey is a jerk. We obviously do not want to be like him. That is why we use banning as a last resort.
